Terror incident of beaten and accused.

Refugee from Burma face terrible dreadful moment and life is always a threat of being harmed by the local people. Refugees are taunted with many filthy and bad words. They are treated with contempt humiliating by the local people. They suffer beaten and assault and they deliberately downplay apparent acts of racism for fear of being a Burmese and a refugee. They suffer ethnic slurs. In many cases, even neighbors and friends get involved in the beating. It shows a communal mentality that has no regard for the refugee community. Refugee Child Robbed and Assaulted

A case of Robbery and Assaults has happened to Mr. Lal David (age-15) S/o Mr. Run Hlei Ceu (UNHCR Number: 09C0100) living at Hastsal, Uttam Nagar. He was robbed his Rs.1400 and severely beaten up by two of the local motorcyclists on 15.1.2011 evening at round about 7:00 pm and sustained severe Back Bruises Injury. Read the rest of this entry »

Attempted to Child Sodomy

A case of Attempt to Child Sodomy and attack has happened to Mr. Hrang Lan Lal (age-7) S/o Mr. Thang Hlei Kap (UNHCR Number: 07IND6) living at Hastsal, Uttam Nagar by one of the local young boy on 20.1.2011 evening and sustained severe Psychological Trauma and severe Bleeding Knee Injury due to the push down to ground.

The refugee community in Delhi has fascination for fictional nightmares. That’s why it’s time to raise some of the main issues facing by the refugees from Burma. There is disbelief that difficult to believe that the more refugees enter into the Indian society the more crimes exposed in the surface. Why do such horrifying crimes often occur in urban areas? How could those educated people involve in such brutal act? What could it be the identity for the refugee from Burma in India society?
